Not sure? How to find your EICR
An EICR is usually a PDF or paper report issued after an electrical inspection of the property’s fixed wiring.
Try these places first:
• your email inbox — search “EICR”, “electrical report”, the property address, or the electrician/company name
• your letting agent or property manager
• the electrician or company who carried out the inspection
• your compliance folder, tenancy paperwork, or cloud storage
• previous landlord software or old invoices
If you find the report, check the property address matches and whether any remedial work was recommended.
If you still can’t find it, it’s safest to assume you need to confirm
with the original provider or arrange a new inspection.
Not sure if it’s valid? We help you sense-check what you’ve got.
